My Baby Coral Reef
 
 Coral reefs are extremely important for biodiversity, providing a home to over 25% of all marine life. They are also vital for people and business. They provide nurseries for many species of commercially important fish, protection of coastal areas from storm waves, and are a significant attraction for the tourism industry.
    However, coral reefs are very fragile sensitive ecosystems that can only tolerate a narrow temperature range.
     Angsana beach is one of the tourism objects in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. One of the main attraction of the beach is the existence of coral reefs. But until now, the coral reefs is in danger of extinction due to the activities of the tourists who like to destroy coral reefs by pulled out and took it to their home home. Besides, it is also because the activities of the fishermen who carelessly when placing their small boat anchor.

       Therefore, as Banjarmasin Earth Hour community, we moved to do real action in saving coral reefs. We are aware of the many ways that can be done to save the environment from global warming. Such as by maximizing the potential of the ocean to absorb carbon and keep the ecosystem in it.
      "Angsana Save Coral Trip" became one of our action to campaign for keeping coral reefs ecosystem to the public when they traveled by didn't ruin it, especially if they want to participate transplanting coral reefs, they were able to donate some money and we also could helped them to plant their coral reefs.
